SOFT DREAM a soft lightweight cashmere and silk (200-250 g/m) fabric** the latest development in Colombo's continuing research and improvement in textile technology. This article, a jacket weight fabric, has been designed in micro patterns, both yarn dyed and piece dyed. It has been also studied for special garment dyed process in the search of a vintage inspired modern look.
Another silk and cashmere fabric, this time with a heritage influence, with a double yarn structure, developed in macro designs. Unlike Soft Dream, this article has a much more lofty aspect that enhances the three-dimensionality of the yarn.
Our pure cashmere, for the more classical and elegant jackets, has been revisited both with the traditional finishing and with a special finishing treatment – that gives the fabric a knit-like look, perfect for a more novelty casual style.
The coat weight fabric in pure cashmere has been designed both in micro patterns as well as in fancy patterns – ranging from Prince of Wales to Pinstripes.
For the luxury part of the collection, Colombo has created precious double face fabrics combining cashmere/mink, cashmere/chinchilla and cashmere/ vicuna. These fabrics are all suitable both for unlined coats and garments enriched with refined details.

The fabrics for menswear and women's wear suiting fabrics are mainly made in superfine 150's wool twisted with silk organza yarn blended with an amazingly soft cashmere. It is all about super-lightweight but compact fabric, ensuring a perfect fit that never creases or wrinkles.
