DESCRIPTION
"Kate" is the "must have" blazer by Lanificio Colombo. The iconic "Kate" combines the preciousness and the softness of the fabric, making the blazer fit the body like a second skin. "Kate" is crafted from a special version of the exclusive "cashmere fleece", made of 90% cashmere and 10% viscose. The characteristic, original mélange effect is obtained thanks to the garment-dyeing process as the 10% viscose keeps the natural colour even when it is treated with the dyeing finishing. Unlined, "Kate" has both the wearability of a blazer and the wearing ease of a knitwear item.
FABRICS
"The original cashmere fleece": this garment is crafted from an exclusive jersey fabric made of 90% precious cashmere from the Inner Mongolia, directly selected on site by Lanificio Colombo. The 10% of viscose allows to create an original mélange effect when the jacket is garment-dyed.
USE
The "Kate" jacket transcends the boundaries of seasonality and mirrors the core values of Lanificio Colombo. This garment combines the cosy, comfortable wearing ease of a sweater and the shape of a blazer. It's the perfect outerwear to wear early in the season, but it can also be used during midwinter, over a round-neck or a turtleneck sweater.
