DESCRIPTION
Precious, sartorial reinterpretation of a classic of women's outerwear. This coat is crafted from a Lanificio Colombo baby camel fabric, embellished by the exclusive "sable effect", that adds sparkle and three-dimensionality to the surface by gently lifting the fibres. Single-breasted, the coat features a fastening with three buttons, all concealed in the storm flap for an elegant, clean line. It also features peaked lapels and two flap pockets. Slightly cut to the waistline, below hip length.
FABRICS
This coat is made out of an exclusive fibre obtained from the bactrian camel, a particular breed from the coldest areas of China and Mongolia. The babies’ ultrafine undercoat, called "duvet", is gently combed to get a fine fibre (18 micron average in diameter), extremely soft and with superior thermal performance.
Lanificio Colombo manufactures this fabric in its plant, surrounded by the green slopes of an Italian alpine valley, where the entire production chain is accurately supervised from the purchase of the fibres to the garment.
USE
This timeless coat is a "passe-partout": the slightly waisted cut and the peaked lapels lengthen the body line adding a fierce touch to this classic garment.
